COURSE AIM:
This skills programme prepares individuals to conduct assessments within their fields of expertise. It is based on the reviewed generic assessor unit standard (Conduct Outcomes-based Assessments # 115753 – formerly 7978) and ensures that candidates can assess peoples' achievement of learning outcomes in terms of specified criteria using pre-designed assessment instruments.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This generic assessor unit standard is for those who assess people for their achievement of learning outcomes in terms of specified criteria using pre-designed assessment instruments.


PROGRAMME ASSESSMENT FOR COMPETENCE:

Candidates are provided with an easy to complete Portfolio of Evidence (PoE). The PoE is started during class time, and is usually completed by the end of the final (3rd) day. The facilitator assesses this work, provides feedback, and if the candidate is competent, he/she is certificated by Dionysus and results are uploaded to ETDP Seta, who issues an official statement of results for the candidate.
