Barrows World Cup Fever!

Wow, what a week. Is it just my imagination or did that FIFA SWC clock suddenly speed up?? 
“Feel it, it is here” was suddenly real!!
And for those of us who had facilitation on Friday the 11th June the challenge was exacerbated. Not only is training on a Friday often a challenge, but training on the day the World Cup kick off was close to impossible!!
I had the good fortune to be conducting Management training at Barrows Retail Marketing Specialists in Springfield Park Durban and we felt “the Gees”.
The entire area was a cacophony of sound as the vuvuzela’s made their presence known. Barrows also put a big effort to convert part of the staff canteen into a fan park and this was well adorned with the 32 participating countries flags.
Learners also got into the spirit of things... Acky stepped out and turned his vehicle into a celebration of South African soccer and Bonke carried his support for Sundowns on to an international stage.
